How to order stock and custom buttons from Buttonstore.com
Contrary to popular belief, ordering buttons from Buttonstore.com does NOT
involve any chanting, drizzling chicken blood over one's monitor, nor logging
onto Buttonstore.com's website at exactly 12:34 A.M. It's actually very easy,
and quite normal to order from us. Just follow these easy instructions:
1st, take the chicken and lay it across the top of your monit....oops, never
mind that...
There are a two different methods you can use to place an order at Buttonstore.com, and they are via online or via the mail.
Online
This is the easiest method by far, in that all you have to do it basically click
away! Choose the button or buttons you want to order, type in how many of them
you want, (remember, we offer great volume discounts!) and click "add to cart."
For totally custom buttons not based on our art
Once there enter your quantity of
custom buttons in the correct button sizes box and click "Look-Up."
You'll be taken to a page where your total buttons and price will be tallied,
including any applicable taxes and shipping.
At this point you'll be prompted for your billing and shipping address, and for
your method of payment. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club online
through our secure server, as well as Google Checkout and PayPal, or you can
send the card info to us via US mail.
Your payment info is logged through a secure server, (you can tell, as
the URL on the page begins with "https:" instead of just "http:"
and your info is fully encrypted. Only one person, (the editor) can decode your
info, and that's done with a decryption key that only he has. Be sure to include any
customization instructions on the second page of checkout. If there isn't
sufficient space for all your customization instructions you can email them to us at
Buttonstore at aol.com. At the end of
the cart, an upload your art page will come up for you.
If you don't want to use the uploader, send your art
to Buttonstore at aol.com as an
email attachment. Remember to place any instructions that go with the art on the
main body of the email, and to attach the email attachment. It should be in .eps, .jpg, .bmp formats at 300 dpi, and 300 x
300 pixels in size. Anything smaller likely won't be usable. For design help
please see our "Design Help"
page
We'll match up your art email address with your order's email address. Try to be
creative with the art file name. We get a few hundred files a year labeled
"button" or "button art," and it's becoming easier and easier to mix them up.
The shopping cart will send you an order confirmation the same day, and we'll
begin making your order immediately, and depending on the size of your order,
we'll have it to you in just a few days, depending on volume. Do plan ahead
though, as some orders do take up to 5 days to ship.
By Mail
This is almost the same as the online method, but
the difference is is when you are in the "payment method" area of the shopping
cart, it asks you if you'd like to send your order by mail or online. If you
choose mail, you'll be prompted to finish the online form, and at the end to
print the form. The printed form will include mailing instruction automatically.
Be advised that payment must be received, deposited and clear the bank before
we'll ship. You know what they say about one bad apple. Sorry.
If you have your own art, either follow the red instructions up top for sending
it to us, or send it via mail as well on CD or DVD,
formatted for PC.
