Buttonstore.com
Price Guarantee Defined
At Buttonstore.com, we pride ourselves on making the highest quality custom buttons possible, at
the lowest possible prices.
At the time of sale, we will meet or beat any competitor's
verifiable published price for buttons and custom buttons with similar
amounts of ink and editing in the same sizes. Guaranteed.
This does not apply to shipping charges, as different areas of the country and
world do cost more to ship to from different areas, and as we can not control
UPS's, FedEx's, the Postal Service's, or any other carrier's prices, we
certainly can not guarantee them. We can, however, guarantee our button prices!
If we can't beat a competitor's price we'll
gladly send you to them with a hardy handshake and $5.00 in your pocket!
If their price is a verbal price and not published price, we'll meet or beat
that as well, as long as we can phone them at their main published (and
findable) number and verify it. (we had to add that, as some people will call
(in fact have called) saying, "yeah, well, Joe Shmo's Buttons say's they'll
make our buttons for .01¢ each, plus they'll pay me to take them, pay my
mortgage
and hook me up with their sister." It must be a legitimate provable price from a
known maker. And no sisters.
Apples to apples:
We WANT you to look at other button makers, but look carefully.
Many button makers show a low price, but look for the words or phrase,
"additional colors extra" in little tiny type. We don't charge for extra colors.
Also look for art fees. Some makers even will even charge you to USE YOUR OWN
ART!!! Huh? That's right! But they'll happily waive this fee if you print the
buttons your self (including the "cut lines," whatever that is) and ship the
printed art to them. Huh? We don't do that!
Some makers have an "Economy" line with a lower price, but again, apples to
apples: you only get one color ink, though you have your choice of one color
background PAPER. We'll match those prices and techniques as well!
Look for, or ask them if there are any set-up fees. We don't charge set-up fees.
Look for plate fees. Many charge plate fees, we don't.
Look for minimum orders. We have no minimum. If you want one button or 10,000,
we'll make them for you.
We don't believe in gouging our
customers with high prices, even though the quality of our workmanship can
easily demand higher prices.
Recently a customer phoned after comparing our prices other makers, and she
shyly commented, "...maybe I shouldn't tell you this, but the other makers
wanted, well, um, a LOT more than you charge. And the local guy was almost
quadruple your prices! How do they get away with it?"
In a word, greed.
They prey on the un-informed, and the Internet ignorant. It's surprising how
many people STILL don't realize that the internet isn't just a digital
playground. It can save you lots of time, and it can save you a ton of money.
Just look at ebay! I've saved many HUNDREDS of dollars by researching what I
want to buy, then finding it in ebay.
Internet service can pay for itself, and then some.
That's where we come in.
When we first started on the net there were only a couple of other makers
residing in our digital neighborhood, and nearly all of them were overcharging
for their product. Their quality was pretty good, but not good enough to justify
a price of $2.00 to $3.50 per button!
We immediately came in with very high quality and VASTLY lower prices. Too low
in some cases.
Then an interesting thing began
happening. People started flocking to us, and our competitors had to change the
way they did business, along with their pricing structure. You'll find all sorts
of sites with this sentences:
"Look at our new revised pricing!"
"New Lower Prices"
"We Now Sell For Less!"
Their prices should have been that way in the FIRST place!
The newest trend in our business is the addition of up to 30
new companies daily popping up on the internet, some with low prices, some with
high prices, some with questionable quality. Be wary. Be careful. Many many many
of these "newbies" will not be around in a year. The quality just isn't
there for a lot of them, nor are the prices or service.
