Policies and Disclaimers Page
Some people might call this the "fine print,"
but we, more or less, refer to it as the "duh" page, or the "common sense" page.
Disclaimer 1:
If you have art that is from
a source other than your own creation, be sure to have permission from the
creator or owner of said art to use it! We will never intentionally, or
knowingly, make buttons from art that is protected under US copyright law, on
our own or as a third party, and will reject art that we think is, or could be,
copyrighted.
This applies as well to any form of bigotry. We won't make it, so don't ask.
If you opt to use an outside vendor's art, such as clipart.com, you must
purchase said art from them. We will not do it unless you authorize the
additional charges we incur to purchase the art you wish to use to be added to
your price total.
Disclaimer 2:
We can not and will not be
held responsible for shipping companies non performance or acts of God that slow
transport of your order. We will always choose the quickest, most cost effective method of transport
available to us in order to get your order to you on time and save you money. Sometimes UPS is the best choice,
sometimes FedEx, and other times the US Postal Service. We can judge this only
by the "Time In Transit" and price quotes given to us by the shipping companies
at the time of shipment. In most cases these times they give are accurate, but
not always. It's best to give your due date for your custom buttons and add a little
time pad just to be safe.
Please be advised that We are NOT FedEx, UPS or the Postal Service, and as such
CAN NOT control their behaviors and policies. If they can't deliver your order
to you due to your giving a faulty address, or they decide to leave your package
for you and you do not claim it, there's little we can do about it. We'll be
happy to follow up with the shipping company to try and correct the problem, but
it does require mutual cooperation at times in order to get an item from point A
to point B. Once a package leaves our hands and enters the hands of the shipping
company, it is their responsibility to get the package to you, and your
responsibility to ensure that they CAN get it to you. In other words, the
shipping address can not be "Mel's gas station at the corner, USA." Be
forewarned: We will deride and ridicule you for this type of behavior.
Disclaimer 3:
Our buttons sizes are our
button sizes. We do the best we can to be informative as to the sizes of our
buttons, 1.25 inch (slightly bigger than a 25¢ coin), 1.50 inches, (which is 1/4
inch larger), 1.75 inch, (which is about half an inch bigger than a 25¢ coin),
2.25 inch (slightly larger than the top of a soda can) and 3.00" (which is 3/4"
bigger than a 2.25" button), and all of our sizes are labeled and measured to US
weights and measurement standards. We will not be held responsible for a
consumer's error in choice of button sizes. In other words, it's not our fault
if you order a particular size button, get that same particular size button, but
it's not the size you envisioned. It's up to you to know the size button you're
ordering from that which is clearly marked. Use a tape measure, tailors tape, or
ruler to know the difference.

Return Policy
If customer is dissatisfied with their product though to no fault of
their own, we will happily remake, replace or refund their order.
Refunds of made orders require the return of the entire product or
order to us. You must obtain a return code for this in advance,
which requires you phoning us at *v* to report a problem.
Is some cases we'll even pay for the shipping back to us, but this
is evaluated on a case by case basis, the default being customer
paid return shipping.
If however the dissatisfaction is a result of the customer's action,
such as poorly formatted or improperly set up art, an incorrect
address, wrong size ordered, omitted expected day of delivery on the
order form, or other problem that is customer created, then we
apologize in advance. You did it to yourself. We try to make the
process is simple and informative as possible, but if you're unsure
about what you're doing on our site, call us for clarification! |
